Dec 7th the movie
Well the third video is done. I quite enjoy the scenery and skiing, I was looking to make it different from the rest, and it is But it is still from the same recipe, hopefully I will vary my style a bit; but for now this is what is coming out of my editing basement. Different trips and different summits should allow me to vary it enough to keep them interesting for you. I hope you enjoy this window into the Selkirks.

I have yet to figure out how to embed videos but I am sure I will figure it out by the end of the season.

Hey greg – nice video, I loved you showing digging pits and the safety aspect of your skiing. Its not the sexy side of bc but it definitely is the most important.
On another note – your blog has got me stoked to try 10k in a day. I’ve done 6k before but its a pretty big step up to do 10. So I was wondering if you could post your weights since I want to see how much heavier my gear is than your setup.
Something like skiis, bindings, skins and boots for moving weight and pack, etc for fixed weight.
Also – on an average 10K day what is your normal ascent rate as per your Suunto? I know you posted typical times last year (change over, ski time, skin time but I don’t remember an ascent rate).
And finally, where I normally ski the runs aren’t as long as yours – typ 1000 to 1400ft vert. Is this to short to make it feasible to get 10K?
Thank you very much in advance.
Paul
Another darn fine effort. Your partner did a good job capturing the speed off Video Pk.
Well where is it man ? It was snowing in the pass between Tofino and Port Albernie and we arrived stoked to see some turns. This waiting isn’t good. your brother did a little surfing today.
